Another legacy braised duck restaurant with long history. Food selection is simple but with enough variety to choose from. I like their duck meat and tofu. Texture was good. The duck meat was slightly chewy. Their chili sauce is not my favorite though. Prefer the taste from the opposite stall. I prefer their noodle than rice. Overall good quality is fine , but I feel that the standard marginally drops. But hey, still a pretty good and unique experience for those yet to experience the Skudai famous braised duck .

Looks like a humble family run business. They specialise in braised duck, but they also have a lot of other things like braised pork and braised eggs, tofu etc on the menu. People who run it are very friendly and kind. I ordered a duck mee, requesting another extra portion of duck meat, and marbled meat (pork). Everything was served very quickly. Portion sizes are not large. I think its pretty ok for this price. Was expecting much more meat especially when I specifically ordered a 2nd double portion. The marbled pork belly was pretty good, especially with their sour, vinegary chili sauce that comes in a plastic jar. The taste is light and not overly salty... however i think it could benefit from more flavour. It tasted more like just soy sauce duck, rather than a fragrant braised flavour with all the familiar spices. The herbal soup served together also was not too bad.

An old school family restaurant serving traditional Teochew braised duck plus other braised items like pig intestines, Tau Kee, Salted Vegetable, etc. I ordered a back quarter portion of the Teochew braised duck, big intestines, braised egg, braised salted vegetable , rice & rice noodles Service was fast, and the price was very reasonable.

Really tasty braised dishes. Once you taste their braised duck, you'll know why they are one of the best in town. Their rice comes with a rich, dark, ducky broth that helps you wash everything down. I recommend their stir fried cabbage and braised peanuts too. As a pig ear lover, theirs is just alright. It needs stronger flavour. Atmosphere wise, it's a typical old school "kopitiam" so it's slightly warm.
